Meet the Team
David brings a wealth of automotive knowledge and experience to AutoHook, both from a dealer and service provider perspective. Prior to joining AutoHook, David served more than six years as Chief Marketing Officer for MileOne Automotive, a large, privately-held automotive dealership group. At MileOne, he built an industry-leading marketing organization, leveraging technology and the internet to increase market share while dramatically decreasing advertising spend per vehicle sold. David previously headed sales for Autobase, where he helped grow the company from a small start-up to the leading automotive CRM software vendor. He began his career on the showroom floor. As an early adopter of arising technologies, he built a prospecting and follow-up system that helped him rise to become one of the top Chrysler salesmen in the country, and eventually General Manager of a dealership. David is regarded as one of the foremost experts in the automotive marketing and e-commerce space and is a frequent speaker at industry events including Digital Dealer, the Global Automotive Conference, and the J.D. Power Automotive Marketing Roundtable. David is an avid automotive enthusiast and is actively involved with the American Cancer Society.
Client Services Team Lead
Ani, as the Client Services Team Lead manages new client implementations, customer support, and performance reporting. She is passionate about her work and ensuring AutoHook delivers top quality products and service. She was also one of the first members of the sales strategy and planning team and was a crucial leader in growing the team to the success that it is today. Ani is based in the Urban Science headquarters office in Detroit, Michigan and enjoys traveling to exotic locations, trying out new restaurants and spending time with her family and friends.
National Sales Manager
Shawn has more than 20 years of sales experience. He thrives on the challenges, competitiveness, and rewards that selling brings. These include the many relationships he builds with clients and our team members, the satisfaction of creating solutions to help our clients become more profitable, and the opportunities to be accountable and recognized for exceptional performance. Shawn got his start in the automotive industry with Autotrader.com in 2006 where he was recognized for his accomplishments with the President’s Club Award. Shawn is married with three children, including two sons and a daughter. He enjoys coaching, volunteering, and mentoring in youth sports programs as well as mountain biking, camping, and fishing.
With over 5 years under his belt, Joe is the longest tenured AutoHook employee. He’s currently a Project Manager and technical lead for all auto related platform development. Joe is a key player with all partnership integrations and system improvements. Joe is always on the lookout for ways to improve the system and is a vocal advocate for implementing progressive change. Joe attended Kettering University and he enjoys cycling, traveling, and spending time outdoors in Northern Michigan in his free time.
Not only is Logan AutoHook's first employee, but Donna Cassell says, "Logan is a key player on the AutoHook team. He is always willing to jump in and help a fellow team member. He is ultimately the glue that holds our operations and billing department together." When Logan isn't working away at the AutoHook office in Detroit, MI, he is said to be an avid soccer player, skilled gamer, and admired for his ability to grow a sweet beard.
Business Development Team Lead
As the Business Development Team Lead, Travis is responsible for developing and growing new and existing OEM relationships and strategic partnerships. He has been with AutoHook since 2013, serving many different functions throughout his tenure. This experience and unique skill set allows him to serve our customers in a highly consultative manner, while also imploring a very analytical and forward-thinking approach. Travis enjoys exploring new terrains, food, and culture while also experiencing the revitalization of his local Detroit.
Director of Marketing
April Rain is a digital marketing addict, obsessed with online trends and emerging technologies. She has a passion for empowering automotive businesses and stimulating sales by instituting gravitational marketing methods. April spent seven years at an automotive advertising agency, heading up the digital department and working with dealerships to grow their online business. April has not only worked with leading automotive companies to amplify their brand, but has also facilitated and co-hosted more than 20 successful automotive events and conferences. April has a unique ability to create communities within automotive, and foster environments where dealers and vendors work cohesively to achieve real results.
